Life lessons from dad

Family

By Jasmine Gupta

Dad is the best man I have ever seen in life. So many stories I can share.

Once when I was in school, just before my maths exam, I got scared, called dad and told him I had forgotten everything. I was tensed. Dad left his office work, came home and made me study for 2 hours, and I felt I knew everything again and scored almost full marks.

Once I had fever before exams and started crying that I had got fever at wrong time. Dad gave me confidence because of which I could take my exams.

Once while learning bicycle, I was scared. Dad told me one thing that I remember forever. What will happen at the max, you will fall down and get hurt. That's it. What is there to fear. Get up and try again. Life lessons from Dad.

Once I was very sad that dhaval was not letting me meet my Japanese friend who was staying in his place. Dad could not see my pain and without bothering for any social impact, took me straight to his house and forced him to allow me to meet him and give gifts that I wanted to.

Great wall of China. I was crying for some reason. Dad climbed down all the 4 dozen stairs just to take me up. No one other than him has cared so much for me.

I was very naughty child. Just to ensure that dad carries me upstairs, I used to fake sleep in car. Inspite of knowing it was fake, dad carried me up all the time.

Once I had fight on road with another car. It was stalemate, no one moving back to let the other car go. Then I thought of what dad would have done. He would have taken car back and allowed the other person to go and would have gone away himself, rather than waste time and energy fighting. Life lessons from dad.

I love dad
